Mentoring is a passion of mine. I often say that I mentor as easily as I breathe. When my husband passed in 2007, I created a nonprofit, Discoveries Unlimited, that provided STEM mentoring to middle school girls. Additionally, I have founded and created other programs and developed training programs and guides within these programs. Now, I am partnering with like-minded individuals to help them make an impact in this world.

Throughout my career, I have worked in Corporate, Education (both k-12 and Higher Education) and Nonprofit organizations. I have written and published both books and academic publications. I have developed websites, training manuals, and programs and have founded award-winning organizations. I have presented and trained both in the United States and Canada. I have a marketing-focused MBA from Indiana University Northwest and an MS in Information and Communication Sciences from Ball State. I am presently pursuing a doctorate in Adult and Community Education from Ball State. I am also the co-founder of Torn in Half, a blog that supports early widows.

At home, I am a proud Mamaw to fifteen grandchildren. We all like to bake and create artwork together. My social media is usually flooded with their creations, and so is my home.

Fetch Happiness is my newest creation and is dedicated to the journey of finding peace and happiness in this chaotic world. It is about making a positive impact while we are here. Schedule a conversation with me if you have an idea you would like to explore or would like to have help implementing your creation.
