Life’s Journey

The Declaration of Independence includes a statement about Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. It does not guarantee happiness; however, it does speak to the ability to pursue happiness as a goal. At least, that is the way I interpret it.

I developed Fetch Happiness with two thoughts in mind. The first is a way to reach out and develop my own business as an Online Business Manager. The second is to have a way to write about pursuing Happiness in life. There will be discussions about struggles and traumas. There will also be discussions about achievements and joyous events. Life is all about the journey and how we travel the path.

You are welcome to join me as we discuss life’s journey and how we can focus on finding happiness and enjoyment. While there is truth to the statement that you can find happiness within and that there is a choice to be made to be happy, I also realize and recognize that there are real mental health issues like depression and PTSD that can interfere with pursuing happiness in your life.

If you are suffering from depression or other issues, I urge you to seek help. There is no shame in asking for assistance when you need it. It takes great strength and courage to get help when you are operating from a place of sadness or despair. I applaud you for making the effort to get help when needed. Taking the time for yourself is probably one of the best steps you can take.

You will often hear me speak of the importance of self-care. It is true that you cannot pour from an empty cup, and it is essential that you take time for yourself. Once you have done that, then you can focus on the task of being there for others…if that is what makes you content.

Just as you can only see so far down the road, I can only see the vision I have for this site, and I do not know where it will eventually take us. I just know that we will be exploring life and seeking this sometimes elusive item called Happiness.

Welcome to the journey.
